Process particles occur not only in the mechanical processing of components but from dust, fibers and particles also from the ambient air, from the operators and from incorrect packaging and transport which can be deposited on the product surfaces. This can lead to a high scrap rate or costly re-working. Due to the ever increasing demands for technical cleanliness and quality assurance of the product, analyses of the typical practical sources of contamination are unavoidable.
The companyDr. Escherich GmbH is specialized on electrostatic surface cleaning. Dry, loose and slightly adhering particles as well as electrostatically bounded particles can be removed. Our wide range of standard equipment, an understanding of electrostatic effects and not least the many years of cooperation with strategic partners are the main reasons we are able to offer you cost effective as well as tailor-made solutions for the removal of unwanted contamination.
The choice of the right cleaning system occurs as a rule after the application, the component geometry and the particle adhesion.
Quality problems – customer complaints; excessive scrap rates; increased reworking outlay – often only become apparent in the course of an ongoing production series; mostly during or following the start-up phase. In many cases the cause is contamination during the manufacturing process. The sources of such contamination are diverse: insufficiently cleaned primary materials or dirt particles originating during the process such as swarf, ridges or flaked off particles. In such cases use of pre-, interim or post-cleaning can quickly pay off. In order to enable existing process layouts to be retained Dr. Escherich offers integrated systems for surface cleaning.

Almost any dust and particles produced by an industrial production process can be effectively extracted. When choosing the right filter, various criteria must be considered. However, the crucial ones are the medium to be extracted and its properties.
Filter life mainly depends on the material used and the medium to be extracted. No generalization can be made. Regular monitoring of the filter is to be done every three months, the filter change signal of the machines indicate a filter change. We recommend changing the filter at least once or twice a year. For this, use only original Dr. Escherich filters.
Do not use used or emptied filter material - it often leads to damage of the filter mats!
Various designs are available for the use of our equipment in ESD areas or clean rooms.

Together with KIST Maschinenbau GmbH we implement a modular cleaning solution in your already existing process layout. You can receive everything tailored out of one hand, beginning with projection, over construction until putting the system into operation.
Discharging is always used if materials are charged with static during certain processes which results in disruptions in finishing and postproduction or in contamination of personnel by uncontrolled discharges. Dust and production particles stick to the surface due to electrostatic charges, these charges can be removed by systems of Dr. Escherich GmbH.
All discharge electrodes used are safe to touch. You can be touched under tension without risk of electric shock.
